Introduction

This is Part 5 of KIZZ, Living Alien Letters, 12-in-1 Images, White Background.

I repeated the process as I had with Part 4, compiling all White Background series into these 12-in-1 images.

184 images, 12-in-1 White Background Series.

By now it was a snap, I am in full mode, creating them as I go until I finished, then it was done. No more.

Only the 12-in-1 Black Background Series to be done.

Introduction

This is Part 4 of KIZZ, Living Alien Letters, 12-in-1 Images, Full Colours.

The idea of trying to show people my work all in one image came to me, when I seen how Instagram works, that kind of square image, I could visualises all 12 of my KIZZ images all on one square image, so that’s what I did.

I found a software that organises the 12 images on one screen and it was astonishing to see how wonderful they looks. Thanks to that software, I finally was able to show how all of KIZZ looks, each set of 12 in one image, and how wonderful the colours shows up.

Full colours, White background, and Black background. Astonishing.

With the way how easy it is to just collects each group, as each folder is a group, creating the 12-in-1 images was a snap, kinda. Everything had to be carefully organised, and carefully named, so as not to make a mistake.

Oh, there was plenty of mistakes, lots of backtracking, checking, oh lots of constant checking.

But I got it all done.

Here it is.

Introduction

This is Part 3 of KIZZ, Living Alien Letters, The Original Twelve Series, Black Background.

I repeated the process for removing the background for the White Background series, and “filled” the removed area with black, thus creating a new set of KIZZ Black Background.

I am amazed by the colours that jumps out from the black background.

I had experimented and these are amazing.

I have no doubt these will looks spectacular when printed on a large canvas, or sheet and hung up on the wall. They looks glorious.

Sure there was mistakes along the way, I had to backtrack and fix those mistakes, boy, I don’t know how I endured, how patient I am, during the whole process. I was almost ready to just throw it all out and not bother, but I kept on, I pushes myself, to complete it. I don’t know why, there was always something inside me that kept pushing me to completes the whole thing.

2,211 images in all. 12 images per folder/group. 184 folders. Certainly impressive.

Even now, I still think no one will likes my work, but who knows, there might be some. I hopes so. Just a few will makes it all worth it.

I don’t mind a few people liking and wanting my work. That’s good enough for me.

Introduction

This is Part 2 of KIZZ, Living Alien Letters, The Original Twelve Series, White Background.

It was 2017, I discovered Digital Crypto Art, and I thought immediately of my KIZZ collection and I wonders if they would be appreciated by people out there, so I did just that, found some sites and uploaded to KnownOrigin as a test. Eventually after waiting months I asks and was told to uploads five random images, so I did that, and now awaiting word if my work is purchased, but not as yet.

The origin of this White Background KIZZ is because I had thought maybe no one liked my Full Colours versions, so I figured I would need to find a way to automated a method to remove the backgrounds around the Living Alien Letters, so I tested all kinds of softwares, and they was impossible to work with, until I found GIMP and tried it and it was also difficult, maybe not difficult to an expert nope, but for me, a novice, yep.

Then I try to study the help book, and finds how to ask the right questions to solve my problem and finally found it, and did it, and from then on I removes the backgrounds from the Full Colours and renamed them into White Background folder, and did the same for the Black Background folder, and it was months in the hard work.

First I uses the lasso tool, then carefully worked my way around the edges, then removes the background, and copy the lasso tool onto other images, and repeats every process, over and over and over, for months until I finished it all.

2,211 images in all. 12 images per folder/group. 184 folders. Awesome.

Then I tried to show my work, and there was no interest, oh well.

Many people likes the work, but all they do is click “like’ and that’s all. No questions about how I did it, no questions about why I created them, no questions at all. I was disappointed. I felt like a failure. I created them because something prompted those images to come into my mind and took years to become manifested, and yet no one cared. Odd. I figured the wrong people was looking and not understanding my work. Perhaps the right people will turn up one day. So, patience, they’ll turn up one day. They’ll see my work and appreciates my work very much. One day.
